Zey
Sorry about asking the question here, but it's a simple question for you 3ds max users. I was just wondering if it's possible to create a model that basicall is naked... Use that as a frame, then create clothing and other misc items that have been modelled to the model easily after. Not really for jk2, just a general question to do with 3ds max and modelling <--- n00b if u didn't guess Fiancee is starting a fashion degree and i thought i'd introduce her into 3ds max to do her fashion designs in 3ds max.. Major Clod
Sure, I see no reason why not, you can model anything you want. However, modelling clothing can be extremely hard, especially with realistic folds and creases. Your best bet would be to model the clothing around the mesh with NURBS, then apply some form of cloth simulator to the mesh, so that it falls over the body and creases properly. Again, it would be a very hard thing to do, and I probably wouldn't reccommend 3DS Max for that sort of thing, especially if you have little experience with it.
