ViNYL_VeNGeaNCe Posted August 16, 2002 Posted August 16, 2002 When i try to add sound to my func_plat through the entity info, I get no cound when i compile. I have tried using the soundSet key with the sound set from the sound.txt file as the value. i have also tried using the noise key and path to the audio file, but that wont work either. My sounds work fine on everything else like speakers and doors, but not on my func_plat. I havent been able to find anything in any tutorials that pertains to this problem. They all say to do it the way i did it...is there something iim missing?

lassev Posted August 17, 2002 Posted August 17, 2002 No need for target_speakers with func_plat. They work fine with soundsets. However, when you choose a soundset from sound.txt -file, make sure that the actual sound files exist. Because there are lots of soundsets that do not have the sound files needed. Use only thouse sets you can connect to existing wavs.
