Max points

Has anyone used the GameShark code that gives player one max points? I used it and the points were around ten or so didgets long.(don't remember exactly) Anyway next to the points was a pod like thing similar to the health power up, only this was elongated. I beat level one with this code and the bar went straight up, and instead of the points going down, they seemed to increase. Anyone else tried this code? This is the code for max points:

yeah, i tried that but my points froze at 16K something.
