kirov1000 Posted August 20, 2002 Posted August 20, 2002 How do you take 3rd person screen dumps from ingame? I have seen many 3d person shots of skins and models in the files section and was wondering how they do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
DarthWraith Posted August 20, 2002 Posted August 20, 2002 the script that i use for in game screenshots is modeview.cfg it works in sp and mp games and also can be combined with the cl_avidemo code for making in game movies its easy to use just enable cheats for the level that you are on "devmap name of level" and then type in"exec modelview.cfg" to use the controles num pad 5 activates the moveabe camera and the 8 and 2 controle the zoom and the 4 and 6 are for the rotation of the camera . Along withh the mouse you can get any angle and any distance from the model for the perfict shot
