ehhh..I cant see his face in that render very well.....

Is there something wrong with his eyes?

And if you can't take criticism well...then dun post pics of your model here for people to talk about. This is a place for you to get suggestions about your model to help you fix it if you are having problems or dont realise that you might have something wrong. I know on my model the people have been a huge help.

sorry, but dont get ****ty with me, there are some major problems with your model at this point, so to call it 'finished' is simply silly

bender's hands are round, with 3 fingers, his torso is still a little off, same with his 'mouth'

try and post some bigger renders next time (640x480 is pretty much standard)

Matariel, are you f*cking insane? i told every one the hands are round! and he has 3 fingures. i don't care if people critisise, its just that you critisise about things ive already fixed, ya know i worked hard on this model, and im not going to take anymore sh*t from anyone! a few people who posted here just f*cked it for everyone, cuase im not posting any more renders! in my opinion this model is acurate to the show, and represents bender well. i was previously in a good mood, thanks for f*king it up!

P.S. be aware that the person in which you speek to is not a computer, but is in fact a Real person with feelings:mad:

HMM.....interesting......Well here is my two euros. I think you might of help settle a lot of problems with a MUCH better rendor. There are a couple of things that look a bit off, becasue of the poor camera angle.

Well, I am sorry you can't take critques, thats what happens when you post on the internet. If it sucks, well people are gonna tell you it sucks. If its good people are going to oogle over it. If it need works, Guess what?..........people are going to tell you it needs work. Nobody ever said you had to listen.

Well now that's all we wanted was a good render. Now we know that the face needs quite a bit of work. So does the hand. I really do think you don't take critisizm very well from what I've seen. You get too impatient with people trying to help and then we get to impatient with you. Just keep it at a cool pace and make sure when more than 1 person tells you something you do it. I know sometimes it is hard to (since I take Critisizm hard too sometimes).

well i apologise for the outburst earlyer on, i got steamed cuase i did all that work and got told to restart it, it won't happen again. i will fix up a few things like the face and the hands, but i won't post any renders or pics of the model till the release, which should be soon(maybe next week some time). i really do hope people appreciate the work im doing for this project.

oh man.....

sorry for the misunderstanding about the hand, but when i say fingers, i mean fingers. Bender DOES NOT have a thumb! just 3 little prongs on the hand and thats it.

Thanks for the detail renders, now we can see each part closer up. :) But i still think his 'eyes' area looks a little weird.....take another look at a few episodes and make the comparison

*sigh*

WarHawk, you Bender model is still far away from looking like the real Bender.

I suggest you to visit the following site which contains lots of Bender pictures taken from several episodes. I think with this reference it should be a lot easier for you to make your model accurate...

Now here it is, the ultimate Bender site:

I noticed you model is basically primitives stuck to a slightly de-formed primivite cylinder. It look like you didn't WELD you vertices, you have about 50 really nasty looking seams. The arms are going to be a big one. I know he is going to be running around with his arms out like that. To see what i mean, creat some bones and weight you arm mesh to it. If i am correct the cyliner (AKA shoulder) will pop out of the mesh and look pretty nasty. You can solve this by welding your verts.

i would but im not sure i know the command line, cuase im using rhino 3d, and it cant animate, however i do have 3d studio, and milkshape, but when i import one of my models in 3ds max it either crashes or freezes up, i know it isent the model cuase it works in all the other 3d programs i have(which is a lot). im waiting for a good tutorial for milkshape that i read part of to get finished.
