JavaGuy
Where do I put the .wav file? I can't get this to work. Under the game base directory I have a sound/mymap folder, and inside that a .wav called testsound.wav. I have a trigger that runs a target speaker, and the noise key is set to "sound/mymap/testsound.wav" yet nothing happens. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? keto
if your mymap directory isnt included in a pk3 then make sure you are running as pure server 0 . other than that make sure that the sound is looping so you can hear it once you get to it. keto
i think the command is "pure_sv 0" it just tells jk2 to look at not only the .pk3 files. go easy on your self though and just make your files in a .pk3 (using winzip)
JavaGuy
Well, I put it in a pk3, and the map runs okay, except that I still don't hear the sounds. Any ideas? I'm pretty new at this, so I'm not even sure where to begin looking for the problem. Thanks, Sam
