Twisted Vertex
That program made by Right Hemipshere? .....I thought it was called Deep paint. But anyaways, Yeah I heard good thing about, Think of it like when you made those clay bowls in kindergarton. You painted on a curved surface. Well is basically the same thing, But you have neat litle functions, and tons of texture control with there texture weapons. I personally find it easier to paint on the 2d surfaces still. Try the demo out.
dreamer
yes the one from right hemisphere is called Deep Paint, but Im acutually asking for a comparison between Deep Paint, and Bodypaint 3D which is from MAXON (guys who made Cinema 4D) and I just checked out Deep Paint and Deep UV, all I did was a click of a button and it auto unwrapped the whole model for me directly from Max into DeepUV! then another click shoots it back into max all unwrapped and stuff! wow! thats so cool! then I can combine it to use Deep Paint which lets me paint in 3D! wow! It makes the UVMapping and skinning so much more easier!
