Slunker
Hey, all! All the questions I've been asking lately have pertained to this series... it's going to be a high-quality SP series... split into 3 episodes, much like the starwars sagas... the first episode, New Empire Dawning is already underway! Go to Tainted Glory Productions' site to learn all about it! http://taintedg.tripod.com I apologize for the overly-crappy job on the page itself... I'm no HTML wizard, but I did what I could... learn all about New Empire Dawning in the "about" page, and look at the screenshots I've posted! We're currently hiring staff, so feel free to email me at slunk731@yahoo.com to help out! Well, what do you think of the screen shots so far, guys? -Slunker
Karshaddii
To be honest man, I cant make out anything but the stormies and the stun baton. Try turning up the brightness level--then repost them. = ) Cant wait to see them.
Slunker
*frowns* I can see them.... I suppose I can add a few lights, but I've just put in enough to see everything clearly... I guess it's just relative.... I'll fix it. Don't worry about it. -SLunker
Karshaddii
You dont need to add more lights--turn the brightness level up in game so it looks overly bright. When you view the screenies they will be the correct brightness level.
Slunker
Hey! Actually, I ended up just using microsoft photo editor to brighten the existing screenshots. But the site now has brightened screen shots! Enjoy, everyone! And tell me what you think. -Slunker

Sithcloak
Doesn't look to bad, better then what I could do. I would reccomend to add some ledges farther into the cave to ambush stormies from. Make some destroyable objects, as well as objects that can be acted apon with the force. By the way is this going to be an actual outpost inside some underground cave system, or a bunch of lost stormtroopers? Keep up the work and it may turn out quite decent. Slunker
I should point out to everyone that this project has been closed due to a lack of interest... *shrugs* And lack of staff, since I simply can't do 14-18 maps (which constitute the first episode) by myself. Anyhow, I can't help but answer how I would have were the project still going on...: *points to the about section of the site* No force powers here, bud. Not until the end of the episode (series of maps). Since there's going to be 3 episodes, there's plenty of time for that later... There's going to be an actual outpost in the level, but the main character basically fell down an elevator shaft (in a broken elevator). He came into the mine through one of the Derelict Entries, so the area where he came in through hasn't had the stalagmites/tites cleared yet, let alone actual fabricated walls put in. Anyhow. Also, the only weapon that you have for this level (after you get further into the installation, the level ends and you get real weapons) is the stun baton. This level was basically created for Metal-Gear-Solid/Syphon-Filter-remnicient fun. Sneaking around behind guards' backs, etc. And I've set the stun baton up to actually freeze guards in place of killing them. (They dissappear when you walk away like dead bodies, but it's still fun...) Of course, it's not going to be all lame running around and zapping unsuspecting guards. The first level will be thick with interesting puzzles, like the Drone Gun room, where you have to go off through another path to get into the overlooking control room and turn off the lights. After this, the night-vision goggles are necessary to get around in the room, but it dramatically reduces the range of the guns spaced around the room, so that you can maneuver your way through and get to the door. (It's actually more complicated than this, but. *grins*)
