U say that the co-op won't work with most of the SP maps however is it going to be released?(I've read the news where it says that it can work for user made maps if there is enough demand but how the heck can we show demand when in the wiredlamp forums there about 10-20 persons) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Irimi-Ai Posted August 29, 2002 Share Posted August 29, 2002 i don't post very much at all anymore, but this news definitely makes me want to post. just because there may not be a lot of frequent posters here, doesn't mean that lots of people weren't reading this forum and eagerly waiting. what i'm trying to say it may not be accurate to infer low interest from a small group of frequent posters. i really hope they release what they have so that SP co-op levels can be made. i'm not blaming WLS or Raven...I understand that it's out of your control. i am disappointed. this was the one mod i was really looking forward to, the one that was going to finally make me really happy with JK2. such is life, though. all i can hope for is that they release what they have, so others can make SP levels especially for co-op, and i hope there are people out there who would do that. if i knew how, i would, and i don't have time to learn (finishing a Ph.D. can be a little time consuming). i hope this happens, as i still dream of the day of playing JK2 with my friend...two jedi against the baddies. in closing, i just want to wish WLS the best of luck in their projects and wish them all success. thanks for taking on such a good project, even if limits outside your control made it impossible. UniKorn Posted August 29, 2002 Share Posted August 29, 2002 We will finish a version that can be used by usermade maps. It is not impossible to create co-op on a usermade mod. Just as long as they take the limits into consideration there should not be a problem. I am gonna talk to thesnerd about everything to see what we can do (add some helpfiles and stuff) to make sure that what we will release is a finished product. tulwinn Posted August 29, 2002 Share Posted August 29, 2002 I agree with Irimi-Ai, I havent posted but I have been checking the news and waiting eagerly for the coop mod as I play all coop games I can get my hands on with my girlfriend. Hopefully some mappers out there will give it a go, lots of people make maps for sven coop so hopefully JO will have the same good community.
