Bell
ya i found the mouse droid but can't find the switch or scriptrunner or script that does it. i've played with the SET_VIEW_ENTITY in behaveD but no luck so far. Pluse, weird thing is, when i assign a targetname value to the droid it does not spawn, but it does spawn with an NPC_targetname value. yet the mouse droid in kejim post has a target name. I'm lost . . .
lassev
When you give it a targetname, it needs a trigger event to spawn. That is the easy and routine way to spawn enemies, when one advances in any given map. NPC_targetname is the identifyer used in scripting. And, indeed, an NPC can and sometimes should have both of them (and they are different). Sorry, but I can't help with the actual problem, having never tried such a thing myself (yet). Bell
great thanks i figured it out; the trigger event was a great clue. now if anyone knows how to change the view from third person to first person when activating the droid? I can't find the script keywords in any of the scripts or manuals to do that thanks!!
