Takeoffyouhoser Posted September 2, 2002 Share Posted September 2, 2002 I have one of those open pits you see in Imperial Star Destroyers and bases and whatnot, the ones that go down forvever... my question is, what is the standard pit texture? if any? Takeoffyouhoser Posted September 2, 2002 Author Share Posted September 2, 2002 Well yeah, but, that made it fade really close together on one side of the bevel...so, i deleted my bevels and started again, i just applied " impdetention/512_512 " to them at it scaled fine. UltimateZeus Posted September 4, 2002 Share Posted September 4, 2002 There is a black texture called floor01 that actually darkens the area. Forgot what directory it was in though. Also use lights with negative values to make it darker. Then use a falling anim with a trigger_hurt so that it looks as though you fall to your doom.
