GeorgeLucasBCN
I noticed that when I move using crouch+back+Right+Atack while in any saber stance my PC starts beeping and the animation gets lagged. Anyone has the same problem? What should I do to avoid this? That's important for me because I use this move often. Thanks in advance.
Sutek
What are the keys bound to this action? You may be hitting a command sequence for some background task by chance. What have you changed/installed/removed recently? (ie just before you started having this trouble) - track back through those and you may find out. GeorgeLucasBCN
Thanks for answer my question. I'll try to find out what have I installed recently. Surely I have installed a program resident in memory that cause this problem. I'll check it out.
Sutek
Let us know if you find the cause. If you don't, it might be worth letting us know a few more details about the problem (did it start suddenly or have you always had it. What hardware do you have, are drivers up to date, etc.). Pa3PyX
And I thought there is a bug in DirectInput under Windows 98, in that it won't allow you to have more than three keys down at once; if you do, it would just beep and do nothing... That's not the case in Windows 95 - and I don't know about other OS'es.
Sutek
Maybe in older versions of DirectX Pa3pyx, but I'm using Win98 myself and I have never had that particular problem. More likely it would be down to keyboard type...hmm... George, What kind of keyboard are you using? Is it a USB, a PS/2 or an AT keyboard? If it's a USB or PS/2 keyboard have you tried moving it over to the other socket (if you have a converter)? Also, we might be going down the wrong track with the keyboard queries - what about your mouse config? Anything in there that might be set oddly (an autofire option even, filling the command buffer?)
