Lets tell LEC we want a PS2 version of JPB instead of a crappy Dreamcast version. They probably wont listen, but its worth a try smile.gif

Forget that...what we shouldn't NEED another version of the game!

The psx version of JPB should have been finished, and LA shouldn't have blatantly ripped people off, and screwed over their loyal fanbase. They can take any future versions of the game and frankly, shove them.

The playstation version of JPB will work on PS2 since PS2 is backwards compatable. It will also have slightly better graphics.

Well, I'm looking forward to getting a PS2, but it will be several months after it's released in October that there will be any games that take good advantage of it's power. So, unless LEC waited and completely rewrote the program, it wouldn't really be any better than the Dreamcast version.

(Am I sensing a little hostility against the Dreamcast Simpson?)

Dreamcast is pretty lame...all they have are arcade games, and they're games I mostly don't play. I LOVE Crazy Taxi though!

PS2 sucks because of one major flaw...anti-aliasing. Why the hell would the not add that to the PS2...Sony is seriousl;y retarded. Every developer is extremely annoyed at the terrible jaggies the PS2 has, and the only way to get aorund the jaggies is to make soem sort of your own anti-aliasing which takes a TON of the Cpu/Gpu

anti-aliasing is a rendering technique that gets rid of the sharp edges (aka jaggies) around objects. it makes them look more realistic and much nicer. Both the dreamcast and Dolphin have this, so I dont know why PS2 doesnt. It makes a HUGE difference in the graphics fo a game. Secondly, I stilll may release the patch. I have run into some major glitches in he game resulting from the patch and I just dont have too much time to work on it. Ill probably have it out soon though. also, not too many people want it and/or can use it (you need a cd burner)

Ill try to get it out as soon as possible

There's no proof that the Dolphin will have full anti-aliasing built in since Nintendo has released absolutely NO information about their new console. But I agree that it almost definitely will since Sony has caught so much flak about it.

After reading E3 coverage on several sites, I'm getting a little less excited about the PS2 this fall and more and more excited about getting my Dreamcast for my birthday this Sunday. There's TONS of awsome games that were announced for Dreamcast. Including of course, JPB smile.gif
