ddragon64
Anyone have any ideas on this one. I've been doing this stuff for months on end this one just doesn't want to work. uv the head, set up the mat, then going into photoshop to make the skin. Everything looks fine til I bring the head back into 3dmax, then it does this: http://www.geocities.com/ddragon64/max.html Looks great up til I turn off the edit mesh to put it on the model. Any help would be great. This is the only thing that needs to be done and I hat e to start over. Thanks Dragon
Twisted Vertex
hmm like some some stretching is occuring....What modifier did you use cylinder?, try to piece it togther using the planar maps.
ddragon64
Yeah, it looks like stretching to me too. I've tried everything. I just started a new model and everthing is working out fine. I must have done something wrong when I first started the model. Hey, thanks anyway. Twisted Vertex
You don't have to restart, trying uv mapping that model using all planar maps. For example select all the faces on the front of the face, and assign that a modifier. The get a mesh select modifier and get the faces on the side of the one (only one side). Then finish up all the sides with this method. Then collapse your stack, and use a uv unwrap modifier. Then weld all the ends togther accordingly.
