Rho Elite/OverShadow was banned (again), and here's why..

Just posting this to make sure everyone knows about this guy:

Well, some of you unfortunately know this guy (Rho Elite/OverShadow) and his ego problem that he's let spill over on this forum in recent weeks.

 

He's lied numerous times on this forum. I went back and read his old posts. I can see how he operates. He tries to trick people into downloading and linking to files he puts up.

 

He got people to link to his "Original artwork" which were just Star Wars pictures anyone could get off the net or scan from comic books and he just slightly modified them (mostly by putting his self-promoting "title" on them).

 

After he was banned for turning all those pictures into porn, he had the gall to send me a message and tell me it was all in fun, and that he wasn't going to do anything like that again.

 

Then he puts up a fake screensave (which is infected with a Trojan Horse virus). He claims he's a big "hacker" with a 200+ IQ. He also claims Adobe Photoshop costs "thousands of dollars."

 

Apparently this guy is a pathological liar, as well as an ego maniac.

 

I feel sorry for anybody he fooled. He obviously feels he has power over those he can trick. Truth be told, it's easy to fool people on the internet. I'm sure he wouldn't like it if our roles were reversed, and it was his site some arrogant kid was meddling around with on a whim.

 

Well, we're through with his shenanigans. We gave him the benefit of the doubt, we tried to be nice to him. We put up with this crap. We gave him second chances and were ready to forgive and let him post like everyone else, but he blew it back right in our faces.

 

They say "don't bite the hand that feeds you." Too bad, he'll have to find another playground to sell snake-oil to.

 

Good riddance.

 

Let that be a lesson the rest of the lamers out there. Follow the rules, or you get out. It's common sense. People who wish to abuse this board are simply not welcome.

Is he completely banned or just banned from those names. In other words, could he still come back on his computer or did you ban his IP?

Yup. We could of course take more extreme measures (just a few more mouse clicks is all) and ban his entire ISP, disable pictures and signatures, and all free email accounts, but this ought to do.

 

Oh well. He wanted to be treated like a child, and so we obliged.
