hey everyone im new to this forum but am yet to even play jedi knight 2. When i try to open up the game it says "could not load openGL subsystem". ive already researched this thorougly and relised that there is a problem with my video card. im using a TRIDENT VIDEO ACCELERATOR CyberBlade-Ai1 AGP on Windows 2000 on a laptop. I can't find a driver that can that can work the game. Ive been searching ages.

Does anyone out there possibly know how i can get the game to play??????????? oh well thanks for reading.

Well if your laptop is a Toshiba 1800 this driver is supposed to work

If you can't use that then you can try a program called GLDirect which should force opengl to work on your card, although i think its just a trial version.

thanks Deetox, nah my laptop isn't a toshiba its an ibm, but the other program worked perfectly, i got the game working now.

Although the comp is pretty knew (pentium 3) the game is kinda of running sluggish, in the 3rd level (the mine) i can't even play its that slow. Does anybody have an idea of how i could make it run a bit faster. Ive already trying setting the video conditions to fastest.

Yeah the mine really slowed me down too when i played it, i can only imagine how bad it must be on your computer. All i can suggest is lowering your video resolution to 640x480, turn your sound quality to low and try turning off video sync in the More Video options if it is enabled.
