Dr_Lazarus
I was wondering if it's possible to have a log active while playing as a client on a remote server? I've been wanting to do this, but I can only seem to get it to work when I host a server. (Which I understand that part of it...) Anyway, does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks. -=Lord Oz=-
Do you mean logging the IPs of those who join the server? While you're on it as a player as well? Um. If there is a way I hope no one posts it here because it could be used maliciously to attack the IPs of people that piss you off during a game. If this is why you want it, then I REALLY hope there's no way it can be done.
Dr_Lazarus
I think you're mistaken... I mean event logging, like says, kills, entering/leaving players. I don't care about IP wars or anything like that. I just don't want to have to condump things before they run off of the console. Nevermind... I thought a condump only saved info from the visible console window. I just tried it and I was wrong. It would still be nice to have this automatic, but if it's not possible, I understand. Hmm... maybe bind a key to "condump game.log; quit".... does anyone know if there are options to condump to maybe append a file instead of overwriting it?
