That was after the Empire. And this game is after the Jedi Apprentice books. Episode One took place when Obi-Wan became a Knight. Since it is Episode One Jedi Power Battles, I think Xanatos can not be a character. Heck Anakin hasn't even been trained as a Jedi yet. You can probably be Anakin in Jedi Power Battles 2. But not Vader.
