Darth Vigrid Posted September 28, 2002 Share Posted September 28, 2002 I can't seem to get rid of the seams breaking open between the arms and the shoulders. I weighted each of the bones at the seams 50/50 and I still get some cracks during animations. Does anyone know a good technique to get rid of these? Matariel Posted September 28, 2002 Share Posted September 28, 2002 try detaching not at the shoulder, but part of the way down the arm, so it leaves a little 'stub'. This way, you weight both the same and it will stay together because it is essentially the same object. I'm not sure about the wrists, there shouldnt be much problems if you make sure the hand is the same width (shape) as the arm at the wrist, it should just pivot around that point...maybey you dont have it lined up properly?
