My friend is pretty good with it, he presumably uses it as his primary weapon. A fully charged shot can give considerable knockback against a saberer with defense down (and also halve his life). It's too accurate for my taste... PS I believe pistol takes more skill than saber.

DeTRiTiC-iQ Posted October 5, 2002 Posted October 5, 2002 I use every weapon to a reasonable standard, but i've been focusing on the bryar recently. I played 40 minutes of CTF using nothing but the bryar, managed some nice air shots too

zerowingzero Posted October 5, 2002 Posted October 5, 2002 Heh, The Bryar is usefull in some situations, there are times when it's completely usless Usefull when: 1.Opponent's back is to you 2.Opponent isnt using a saber 3.Opponent is contantly swinging instead of just blocking and leting the reflected shot kill the shooter As for skill, just charge, shoot when the saberist swings and that's it. It does do quite a bit of damage charged up.
Old_Ben Posted October 6, 2002 Posted October 6, 2002 I once won an ffa with only using the Bryar pistol. Alot of people think your just a newb when you run around with it, than you place a nice charged shot and there gone.
