Diversion Posted October 8, 2002 Share Posted October 8, 2002 I'm new to the editor. I've made a map which I intend to play with a few friend (2vs2). Each civ get his main reactor to defend and I want to set it up so that when a players reactor is destroyed he's defeated. How do I do that. Since it's 2vs2 I also wonder if it's possible to set it up so that 2 players share a reactor and they both is defeated if it's destroyed. The Chosen one Posted October 8, 2002 Share Posted October 8, 2002 Dear Diversion the answer to your problem is simplyjust go to the triggers menu and click on new and then below it click on condition and effect. Now click on the options their are for condition and select one called Destroy object and click on SET OBJECT and then click on the on of the rector's. Now for effect select for effect one called Declare victory and set the source player for the player's reactor you just selected for set object. Now for the last part go to the menu in the top screen called diplomacy and click an option on the bottom where when clicked there should be a check mark which activate's allied victory which i assume you are familiar with, this option will have to be activated for all the players in that menu. Diversion Posted October 14, 2002 Author Share Posted October 14, 2002 It doesn't work. When I destroy the reactor I win but my Ally also gets defeated along the two enemies. I have checked the diplomacy menu and as far as I can tell it's corrcet. Allied victory and he is set to ally and the others to enemy. What gives?
