Bonus Droid level

Just a simple question:

 

Has anyone beaten the bonus level for the Trade Federation and if so, how. By the time I reached the monument I had about half my army left and they were all killed by the monument guardians before anyone of them could cross the bridge.

i just got to this one the other day, and i keep getting wrecked at the bottle necking part.

 

i think the hardest scenario i've payed so far is the rebel one where you have to get the troops in through the water and you have luke, 1 canon, 1 aa mobile, an assult mech and some troops.

THAT level is hard! it took me forever to beat that damned thing.

You should be able to handle the bottleneck ok if you lure them out in groups with Maul. You can even go around the left side and drag them out across the water (there are shallows they can pass through).

 

I actually didn't have a problem with the Luke one. Mainly I just kept them well grouped with my assaults on the south side (closest to the water) and left my workers back as far as possible. The assaults took out pretty much anything except for air, which the AA handled fairly well. I used Luke a fair bit as a target since he heals and turned (think the other side dies to the turning) when possible since the range of the turning is fairly decent. Like the final TF mission, the Luke mission is best taken slowly to handle each grouping of enemy units.
