Dumb newbie needs a little help

I am relatively new to modelling/skinning.

I was wondering how I can extract models from the glm files so I can edit them in MAX

 

I have:

JKEdit Tools

3DS Max 4

 

I have looked at the readme on Assimilate, but I can't seem to work backwards.

 

Can anyone help and tell me what I am doing wrong?

the two JK2 Tools packages comes with an .xsi importer and several .xsi models from characters in JK2. put the .xsi importer into your plugins to import them.

 

but if you want to import .glm's then youll need to use milkshape3d to import them, then export to something 3dsmax can import, like .3ds
