Guest ShadeShifter
Ok, the game does have glitches, a lot of them. That is one major complaint. The game, though, is fun and great to play. Trust the judgement of those that have played the game the most, not just a reviewer who might have only played it once or just seen it. ------------------ [This message has been edited by ShadeShifter (edited April 30, 2000).]
Guest Shinigami
i agree, also these guys have the opportunity to play some of the greatest games out so some good games such as JPB, have their flaws pointed out , while they are compared to games that they shouldnt be ------------------ Duo Maxwell: the UNcouncil's Master of Animé "I'm glad you're here to tell us these things!!" Guest the13thJedi
Obi Wan2000- If you don't like the game because of the reviews and because of this, you are not willing to give the game a chance, then don't complain about it.
Guest BigBud
JUST RENT THE DAMN GAME, AND TRY IT FOR YOURSELF. GOD, ALL IT TAKES IS 4 DOLLARS TO RENT THE DAMN THING. Guest Barnabas Antilies
Also many of the reviewers are avid gamers. They are playing there imported PS2's. They will be judging a little more harshly on PSX games. ------------------ Father Barnabas Antilies, Supreme Chancelor

Guest lancer one
Go to www.gamefaqs.com and search for "Jedi"...then just click on the reviews for JPB. They have three...and two are pretty fair, but I don't like how one of them decided to word the review. The scores were two 7's and one 8.
Guest Thermal
I have to say that most of the reviews I've read from game mags and sites have seemed pretty accurate to me. I have yet to read a review from a game site (not a Star Wars fan site) that didnt point out the exact same flaws in the game. ie: terrible controls and lots of programing flubs. Personally, I think that underneath it all is a fantastic StarWars game with a bunch of innovative features, and it has lots of great touches to offer hardcore StarWars fans. But that doesn't really change the fact that I think some more play testing could have made this game so much more enjoyable. I'm a huge SW fan AND a big gamer like most of u probably, and despite my SW enthusiasm for how cool it is to kick butt Jedi style this gamer frustrates me like no other I've played. I have to keep it safely stowed inside my Playstation just so I won't be tempted to throw it out the nearest window. I stopped playing it 3 days after I bought it because there were just better games to be played, but I will say that my friend came home from college yesterday and we tried playing it co-op and it was MUCH more fun. It was still frustrating at parts but actually being able to make progress in the game made it so much more enjoyable Plus there's just no feeling like slicing up hordes of battle droids with a fellow Jedi Master at your side! All in all, I'd recomend it to big Star Wars fans but not many other gamers because there are similar games out there that are just made better. Guest Darth_Maul
The thing is, pretty much every single person in this forum is a die hard star wars fan and THAT's what makes us like the game, because let's face it. Compared to some other major titles like the final fantasy series this game is just "not up to par" because of the glitches, controls, or overall gameplay. However, the only games you will be able to hack things up with a lightsaber in will be Lucas Games, so it's the best we got and I'll take what I can get even if it's not the best of games, because, quite frankly... I like hacking things up with lightsabers. ------------------ Darth Maul Dark Lord of the Sith Order There is no peace, there is anger. There is no fear, there is power.
