TheMule
I have the Aayla Secura skin, but it seems to require a certain Twi'lek skinpack, and that I can't find anywhere. Does anyone have or know where to get it?
Darth Loki
You don't need the skin pack as such, but it includes another 3 skins that didn't come in the basic .pk3 file. It can be downloaded at Jedicenter.
TheMule
Thanks for the info Dark Loki, but I already figured it out from playing around with the skins (after reading the proper tutorials) . It wasn't another skinpack that was neccessary, the problem was there were only model_default.skin's, none for the blue and red teams. I just copied the default twice, renaming those appropriately, inserted them into the respective pk3's, and all the previously messed up skins were textured just fine. I just wanna know one thing... If you've already made the effort to create a whole new model and corresponding textures, why wouldn't you just go ahead and set up the team skins, even if they look the same as the default? *Shrug* Oh well... Darth Loki
Uh, I'm not sure what you are talking about. I got the first Aayla pack, then the face update, and they worked fine (even the team skins). Then I got the Aayla second release (currently only available on jkii.net i think) and it worked fine again (even the team skins). You didn't modify any of the files in the .pk3 did you before using it?
TheMule
OK, here's what I meant originally: when I first placed the skin in my gamedata/base directory (w/out touching anything in them) the skins only showed up as textureless gray things in multiplayer. I looked in the pk3 and found only a model_default.skin in the model/player/<charname> dirs, so for each skin I copied that file as both model_red.skin and model_blue.skin, copied and renamed the icons as well, and now everything works just fine.
