Guest Shinigami
i liked the first one, with the ewoks singing ------------------ Duo Maxwell: the UNcouncil's Master of Animé "I'm glad you're here to tell us these things!!"
Guest Acid_Rain327
I dunno, it's a bit of a toss-up for me. On the one hand, the song which the Ewoks sing is the original, and is classic, not to mention fun to listen to. On the other hand, the song added for the Special Edition was a bit more emotional and better conveys the conclusion of such a grand saga. Despite wanting to remain traditional, I think I prefer the new one, for as I said, it provides more closure and satisfaction in drawing out the fact that the adventure, romance, and struggles had finally come to an end. Guest Obi-wan Shinobi
My favorite of the two endings is the new one from SE. I never liked the Ewok celebration song, I thought it was hokey. My all time favorite SW song is "Binary Sunset". This plays for the first time when Luke is watching the suns set, and thinking he will never be able to follow his dream...powerful stuf... ------------------ Shinobi...Shaking in his boots. Guest Acid_Rain327
I completely agree that "Binary Sunset" was one of John Williams' most moving pieces. That, along with "Luke And Leia", and "Leia's News/Light Side of The Force" will always be my favorites of all time. All of Williams' music is so ingeniously composed, and romantic. Guest DarthGohan1016
My favorite is also "Binary Sunset", and it's the same one they played during Vaders funeral pyre, so thats my favorite too
Guest Kurgan
The SE one is nice, but nostalgia-wise, nothing beats ol' "Yub Yub" ; ) Kurgan
