Guest ShadeShifter
Someone brought this to my attention. The Episode 1 Insiders Guide CD mentions that, in the movie, Ki-Adi was on Tatooine at the same time as Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon. Hmmmmm, very interesting. ------------------

Guest darth_maul_87
How is that possible? Shouldn't he have been on Tatooine? ------------------ Fear... Fear attracts the fearful... The strong... Guest Darth_Talon
so ki-adi mundi is probably somewhere on tatooine if you find him that way..interesting...lets all start a hunt for him on tatooine ------------------
Guest ShadeShifter
Do you mean "Coruscant" not "Tatooine?" Ki-Adi was on Tatooine hunting the bounty hunter Aurra Sing, a rogue Jedi ------------------ [This message has been edited by ShadeShifter (edited April 30, 2000).] [This message has been edited by ShadeShifter (edited April 30, 2000).] [This message has been edited by ShadeShifter (edited April 30, 2000).]
Guest Darth_Talon
You said in your first message that Ki-adi Mundi was on Tatooine the same time as obi-wan and Qui-gon... ------------------
Guest ShadeShifter
He was, just on a different mission. ------------------
Guest Darth_Talon
so that means that we should look on the level tatooine for him as well as courascant....if that is the way you find him...its probably just a really hard code...but we should still look. ------------------
Guest Acid_Rain327
That's right. Aurra Sing is notorious for hunting Jedi, as well force-sensitive prey. She was on Tatooine, because she was on the trails of a Jedi Master whom had been atoning while living amongst Tuskens for some time. Ki-Adi-Mundi was also searching for that Jedi Master I believe. Aurra destroyed the Jedi Master, thus a battle ensued between the Jedi Knight and the Bounty Hunter. Obviously, both survived, as Ki-Adi made it safely back to Coruscant, and Aurra has been confirmed as returning in E2. More on the Ki/Aurra connection: Aurra sing was a Jedi hopeful who was brought to the Jedi Temple by a mysterious character known as the Dark Woman - the same person whom had recruited Ki-Adi-Mundi. Aurra, as we can all see, failed as a Jedi, and turned to using her powers for profit - namely bounty hunting. She holds a grudge against Jedi, and enjoys hunting them for that reason. She has in her possession a case in which she keeps the lightsabers of her victims. I predict the role Aurra will play in E2 will be that of hunting Jedi in one form or another, possibly for Sidious/Palpatine.
Guest Darth_Talon
Everyone has to try to get Ki-Adi Mundi...if we all search we are bound to find him. I dont know about you but i dont want to wait 6 months for Gay Lucas Arts to release a code or whatever..so lets get going!!!
Guest ShadeShifter
I see the misunderstanding. darth_maul_87 said Tatooine, and I though that he meant Coruscant. I was just correcting. ------------------
Guest Acid_Rain327
I was just wondering, where did you all read that the Ki-Adi-Mundi code will be released in 6 months. Is it on the LA site?
Guest ShadeShifter
Good question. I thought that it was just an assumption based on how, in the past, Lucasarts has released codes for games 6 months after the games release. ------------------
Guest Darth Wart
You guys might all be wasting your time. What, when it really comes down to it, is your "evidence" that Ki-Adi's even in this game? 1. The programmer who said in an interview that "you'll have to wait for that one." This could have meant, "you'll have to wait for a lightsaber game with Ki-Adi in it." 2. The voice credit in the booklet. He may have been put in originally (maybe even in just an animation), and then yanked for any number of reasons afterwards. The game's producers might still have been contractually obligated to keep his name there. This happens in movies a lot. Yeah, I agree with you: it's bs having to wait six months. Also, you're entirely right: "If we all look methodically, we're bound to find him." But that's provided he's even in the game, an assumption you guys seem to be making quite easily. No offense intended. ------------------ There is a complete online JPB strategy guide available at: http://JediPowerBattlesGuide.homestead.com/JPB.html
Guest ShadeShifter
None taken. For me, it's just another way to keep the game interesting. ------------------
Guest the13thJedi
I'll search on Tattooine, but I've already gone over Coruscant many, many times and believe me, He isn't in there. Truthfully however, I don't think that backstories have anything to do with wether or not KAM is in the game... sad but it may be true.
Guest ShadeShifter
I've searched Coruscant too, and I haven't found anything. ------------------
Guest the13thJedi
I think that the likelyhood of KAM being accessible by means of a power-up hidden within a level are pretty slim... If he is in the game, Then I stand by the idea that a code is the way to get him...
Guest BigBud
Everyone is saying we are shure to find him, and that you do not whant to wait 6 months for lucas to realice a code. BUT Who sais KAM is even in the game. It is just a rumor...and there are so meany things that you can unlock like, levels and stuff. That I highly dought he is in the game too. THOUGH it would be cool. ------------------ TAKE YOUR PICK, AND CHOOSE YOUR DESTINY
Guest ShadeShifter
I never said that he was definately there. He might be, and that's why I'll search. ------------------
Guest Maul Clone
My dream is that I find a taxi, or ledge on Corusant that leads to the Jedi Temple where Ki-Adi is waiting. Wouldn't that rule! The objective of the level is to find the Jedi Temple now isn't it? Hmmm..... However, I've tried and tried to find him on that level to no avail. If he is there, he would probably be late in the level where the Temple is close. I also agree the Tatooine would be a likely place for 2 reasons: There's lots of places to hide there, drops, ledges. And because he does go there to hunt Aurra in the comics. I know he is in the game though, there's just too much evidence. Plus, I've played this waiting game with LucasArts enough times to know that there is a code. Shadows of the Empire, Rogue Squadron, Masters of the Tera..(sp?). Anyway, they all waited exactly 6 months to release their truely awesome codes. And this time we know what the code is because of the credits. Lets not be fools and wait 6 months. We CAN find it if we keep this seach going on this big board. Glad to see you want to continue the search with us Shadeshifter, even though you left the Order. ------------------ Founder and Emperor of The Sith Order
Guest ShadeShifter
I've searched Tatooine until I couldn't search anymore (getting really late and I was getting sleepy.) I found some neat areas (check my "weird glitch" post) but no Ki-Adi. I will continue to search...... ......for the honor of all Sith. ------------------
