Hello:D!! Jsut thought I'd let everyone know that I am making a Wookie campaign. I completed it over the summer, but it was erased, so I am making it again. My only question is, should I realease the campaign piece by piece, or should I wait until it's completely done?

Patience young jedi. Different time zones means that not everyone is online.

I suggest once you have the whole thing completed, release it in parts.

Hmm.... Well, I sent you the campaign (Geez am I a little anxious, or what?). I put it all together... What would be the advantages to releasing it in pieces?

Advantages of doing it in parts:

*If the story's in parts, it's pretty obvious....

*If it's not all finished, it's also obvious.....

*And even if you've finished this campaign, you might decide to come back and make another, and it's pretty stupid to sit around finishing the second campaign while the first one's ready to go.

*Quicker for players to d/l one part, then come back again and d/l another, then come back again and d/l another, then come back again and d/l another, rather than sitting around waiting for a huge d/l to finish.

*Easier for players to have a quick test to see what it's like by just d/ling one part, rather than having to d/l the whole lot, playing one bit, and deciding you don't like it.

So.... release it in parts, but not too tiny (aka 1 or 2 missions) and not too large (aka 15 missions). It depends, of course, on how big your campaign is..... if it's only 6 or so, it'd probably be easier just to do it in a single go.

Yeah like Corran said but I don't think it takes that long to download a campaign unless it's huge. Maybe it's more like giving people a good glimpse and if they like it they can come back later to download the rest.

What's the name of your campaign?
