Hitman 2 complaints

OK, this is my brief rant, and I'm sure I'll get over it.

 

Content in Hitman 2 is going to be changed because in one of the levels you have to kill people in turbans. Some Sikhs have complained that this is racist, and to me this is jsut ridiculous.

 

First off, I've played the game, and you don't have to kill them if you're good enough at the game.

Second, the accusation that it is racist is absurd. There was no uproar from Italian American market, but Mafia members can be killed. Is this not stereotyping all Italian Americans as Mafia thugs? Postmen weren't complaining, but you can inhume them. Perhaps this is a subliminal attack on mail carriers? Bald people didn't make a fuss, but the assassin, controlled by the player, has an infinitely receded hairline. Surely this is implying that all bald men are cold-hearted killers?

Of course it doesn't. But being able to exterminate men is turbans is racist against Sikhs, apparently.

Eidos are now haing to take this excellent level out of the game and for what? It's a disgrace...

 

EDIT: Wow. It gets even worse.

What kind of stupid remark is this? "People may think that terrorists wear turbans but they don't". Christ, is anyone stupid enough to thing this? Heck, what's next? Blind people bemoaning the fact that the Mafia members in the game all wear sunglasses? Whoever decided to go out and badmouth this wonderful game obviously has no life whatsoever.

I'm d/ling the game right now, or what I think is the game, I'll find out soon enough.

 

Removing a level because of that is so stupid, people complain about the dumbest things. Pretty soon the only type of people in games will be stick figures, and grape jelly will be what oozes out of a shot person. And every few minutes the character in the game will say a slogan such as Don't Do Drugs or Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You.

 

 

What is this world coming to?

 

Besides, its Hitman. I think Hitmen across the world should unite and prove that anyone can be a target.

Yeah seriously you dont go complaining about something in a GAME. Games are never really realistic, so don't treat it like it is...basically what you said, but I just had to agree, it's bull

Update: Now 2 shops here in Britain have taken the game off the shelves alltogether. Now, where in the world would they be this stupid? Where in the world? PC World. And Woolworths as well. It's a goddamn disgrace.
