Were the Sith ever considered yet for expansion or "prequel" to SWGB?

The Sith were a race and not just the Dark Lords of the Force in the movies. Many people mistake them for the two. The comics dealt mostly with the ancient Sith proving specs for their civilizations. I was wondering if any thoughts on the Sith as a civ was ever thought about?

Actually, i think it was. Mst of us know that the sith were a race that were enslaved by the Sith Lord, or the fallen jedi. However, so little is known about them that it would be hard to pice together enough units and to put them into a campaign. Youd have to have another civ in their time period for them to fight, and there isn't one.

The Sith were a race of people yet they were found by Dark Jedi and in slaved yet the sith over came them which names the sith more powerful but they tour each other apart with power differances.
