OOM-7-darkdroid Posted November 12, 2002 Posted November 12, 2002 1) Can someone explain to me what's the differentce between "Armour" and "DuraArmour" ? 2a) What is the meaning of the numbers as you see in the game about the unit features (f.e. 1/1 for armour, 8+4 for Attack) ? 2b) What's the unit measure ? 3) I have read that some units, like grenade troopers or assault mechs, are "Area attack" units. Does it means that all enemy in the area of attack would be affected? And where can I find the informations about how big is the size of that area? Thanks.

Thanks. 1-Armour:protects against melee attack DuraArmour:protects against ranged attacks 2a-1/1: First one is Armour second is DuraArmour 8 your reguralar attack and 8+4 is your upgraded attack 2b-?????? 3-I don't know exactly how much is the grenadier and assault mech area of effect but it,s quite large. And everything is affected(including your units)
Sithmaster_821 Posted November 12, 2002 Posted November 12, 2002 2b- It is measured in hp. For example, if a unit has 1/1 armor (1 regular armor and one duraarmor) and a unit that deals 5 attack attacks it, then 4 hp will be losed. No attack take away less thn 1 hp. Whilke we are on the topic, range is measured in tiles.
lukeiamyourdad Posted November 12, 2002 Posted November 12, 2002 I just didn't understand what he meant......
Sithmaster_821 Posted November 12, 2002 Posted November 12, 2002 I know, but the questioned needed answering by someone, though
