I don't know why all the times I open a pk3 mod file (the deathstar for example)It (THE PK3 File )opens using all the time Deus Ex (the game).Ican't play the deathstar map and the others maps and mods:the deaths.map say to put THE file in the game data directory,then extract this (what mean?);run the game clik setup mods and load the deathstar mod.I don't find The mod.THE carbon map say to open like an ffi (maybe)WHat mean open like FFi?THANKS for help CIAO

Open "My Computer" from the desktop.

double click on the drive where you installed the game and go to the game directory (usually "C:\Program Files\Lucas Arts\"...)

(2)Look for the "GameData" directory somewhere here.

 

(3)Double Click on the Folder and look for another directory called "base"

 

(4)double click on the "base" folder and place your .pk3 file there.

 

(5)It should appear in the "mod" section when you load Jedi Outcast.

If you cannot find the "GameData" directory (sorry I'm posting from a computer that does not have JKII installed) then go to START -> Find -> Files or Folders

then type "GameData" without the quotes. It should appear within a directory called "LucasArts". Open "GameData" and continue from step (4).
