2 Single Sabers

Hi i REALLY big time want the mod were anakin can use 2 single sabers on multiplayer but the thing is i need help.

 

When i download it i go to desktop/program files/lucasarts/jk2/base folder then i paste it in to the base folder.

 

Then i go to load multiplayer up it runs through the programs like useual then comes up were the introduction is (who produced the game) etc but it doesnt load the the screen just stays white and does NOT load the game or anything. I think i did some thing wrong.

 

I Really need help with this i ill give something to the person who helps me on it.

I found a file called phatmod.It has two saber usage as well as jetpack for boba fett. as for making this work all I did was follow the read me file. extract the folder to the gamedata dir. not the base dir. there is a lot more detail that goes on reply if more needed

Well thanks for that but im not that bright on these things maybe if you could post like a step by step guide that will help me alot.

OK first download Phatmod from this site. save it in MY DOCKUMENTS then left mouse click the file in MY DOCKUMENTS and select extract all .follow the procedure until it askes what you want it extracted to. CLICK BROUSE then click my computer then c:/ promt then program files then scroll down till you find lucas arts or star wars. then click that file then star wars jedi knight then GAMEDATA NOTTTTTTTT BASE FOLDER. then ok.

The files will extract when you click the finish button. Then comes the easy part check if the4 file is in there properly. To do this left mouse click the JEDI KNIGHT II icon that you use to start the game and click properties then click find target. you will see a folder pop up that has folder such as GAME DATA, INSTALL etc.

click game data and look to see if the file phat mod is in there .you may heve to click the make a new folder and drag the file in there but I dont think so. this should do it

Then start the game with the icon you clicked fore my properties and click multiplayer in the main menu click setup then mods then you should see phatmod in there. mods will only appear if there is a folder not a data file. click phatmod then load.

this will start the game all over again. click create server and I like besbin but click what you want and load game.

 

NOW THIS IS IMPORTANT YOU MUST ENABLE THE MODS bring down the console (shift ~) then type EXACTLEY

set mod_jetpack 1

the number 1 enables the mod

the you need to bind it to a key. I like the key (/)

so type (/bind / jetpack) include spaces

for two sabers type

(/twosaber)

OR (/bind " twosaber)

NOTE IN ORDER TO TURN ON THE DOUBLE SABER YOU NEED TO HAVE THE SABER DRAWN BUT RETRACTED SO IT ISN'T ON THEN TYPE THAT COMMAND.

One problem u know when u say clcik on the file mod i do that but it comes up with media player thats wot all my mods files are saved in so when i open it it says please insert cd or wotevea so wot do i do now? i am trying to extract phatMOD1_0 arnt i? but it doesnt come up with anything arggggghhhhhhhh just media player and how do i save it in my documents?

did you right mouse click. then extract or if possible try this.

click once the file so it is highligted but don't open it, then on the left side of the my documents screen you will see a list of written options try clicking move copy extract.

 

otherwise I think I need more info to understand what the problem is. when I right mouse click a file it gives me a list of options open, explor, serch extract all.

CHECK is the file a zipped file or a file folder

a zipped file is yellow with a zipper in the middle and a file is a blang yellow folder

when i right click the file it syas the following:-

 

Open

WinZip

Scan with AVG

Send to

cut

copy

create shortcut

delete

re-name

properties

 

So do i need to click one of them??? and the highlight bit do i go to file,edit,view,go,favorites,help ??? if so wot do i clcik on.

Question? when you downloaded the file and it prompted you for a choice of open save cancle more. what did you pick? . should be save.

2nd question what system are you running windows what?

because there should be extract in there.

3rd question, what happens when you hit winzip? does it give you choices as what to do and if so tell me the choices.

sorry i havent replyed in awile ive done every thing you have said i load the mod in setup called my documents and it restarts game then i go to dual load a game there etc then i get to the game i press shift and ~ and control thing comes down...wot do i put EXACTLY there wot do i write EXACTLY. and after that do i need to press enter or something????
