Multiplayer Issues

Hey! I love the game, and just reccently bought both GB, and CC. I got home, installed GB, then CC. I downloaded CC update 1.1. I then installed GameSpy, and attempted to join a game. GB starts up, says "Joining Multiplayer Game"... Sits there for like a minute, then says "can't join game"!!!

wft???

I turned my firewall off and everything. Is there some option that i'm missing?

Hmmm.

 

I haven't much experience of Gamespy as it does suck. I suggest you try playing your games on the MSN Zone.

 

Many more people play there.

Also, once you download the patch, you must first run the game (play it for around 60 seconds) off the ZONE or Gamespy so your game can get updated.

 

This could help on gamespy, so try that first, if not visit the Zone.

Thanks for the help, but alas, nothing. I tried the Zone and GameSpy after playing SP for 10 minutes. Still the same symptems. I'm behind a router, so do you think i have to turn packet forwarding on? If so, what ports?
