Poem: Midnight

Lateralis

Recommended Posts

Starlight, star bright.

The first star I see tonight.

I wish I may, I wish I might...

live the Dream I dream tonight.

Touch the stars with your fingertips,

Let oceans flow, let moon eclipse.

For angels sing, for sunrise rings,

of that which I dream tonight.

As starlight beckons for dreams come true,

when friends and heroes do chance hope too,

had stardust passed upon make believe,

could not darkness last, nor time decieve.

Yet sliver lined waves caress the shore,

and your eyes sparkle as they've done before,

Sands of time hath trickled through,

hath returned the dream, and me to you.

If in dreams doth love save all,

Yet it seems I may still fall,

can brigand heart and my fools mind,

Relight the moon, and make thee mine?

Starlight, star bright.

The first star I see tonight.

I wish I may, I wish I might...

Live the dream I dream tonight.
