Guest Darth Koon
Can you get ultimate saber in 2 player mode, and if not why?
Guest Dave Maul
I'm sure I remember a big discussion about this some time ago. If I could, I'd direct you to it. But I can't, so I won't, so you'll just have to live with it. I don't think it is (for that matter, I don't think any level or character bonuses are in 2-player mode. Correct me if I'm wrong). ------------------ Dave Maul
Guest Darth Wart
You can unlock everything in twoplayer mode that you can in oneplayer mode, with the exception of level 14, and hence the ultimate saber. ------------------ Wart Get your free JPB guide at: http://jedipowerbattlesguide.homestead.com/JPB.html

Guest Jedi Kanigget
Of course, you can get the ultimate lightsaber for two players with a GameShark. ------------------ New! Guest Dave Maul
So you could have two droidekas rolling around in level 11? Cool! I've got to try that! What about the secret characters? And to unlock all these things, do you need to complete the game with the respective player, or just the last level? ------------------ Dave Maul
Guest Weasel
I believe that the method in achieving the levels and characters (yes, you can get the secret characters in two-player mode but I find it darn annoying when I have a Jedi and the other has a character with the ability to shoot and I never get a chance to kill anything then) is identical to that of one-player mode. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. --The Weasel ------------------
Guest Darth Wart
Weasel is not wrong. Things are unlocked on twoplayer in the same way they're unlocked on oneplayer (e.g. complete the game with Qui to get Maul). The only thing that's not the same is that if you beat Maul with Mace, nothing happens, as I explained above. SHORTCUT FOR LAZY-ASSES: Suppose you wanna unlock "Droidekas" on twoplayer, like you said, but you don't have the patience to take Plo ALL THE STUPID WAY through the game to do it. Just have the first player choose another character who's at level 10 first, then have the other one choose Plo to go with him. When you guys beat Maul, Plo will suddenly be at level 10 (he won't have comparable skill levels, though). P.S. Although I have no reason to doubt the renowned Jedi Kanigget, I have not personally SEEN a gameshark unlock ultimate saber on twoplayer. Kanigget: have you actually seen this work, or have you just seen a code for it? ------------------ Wart Get your free JPB guide at: http://jedipowerbattlesguide.homestead.com/JPB.html
Guest Jedi Kanigget
I've tested it myself, it works. Not sure which code it is though. There's one code with a description to unlock all characters, but I think it might also unlock the saber. In any case, as long as the code is on, the ultimate saber will work with two player. Unlock all characters: 800AD29C FFFF Enable Ultimate saber mode: 300AD29D 0001 Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure the ultimate saber is unlocked with the first code and that's the code I used. ------------------ New!
