Hi guys.

Some of you may know me from these forums, doing the odd bit of research for someone on request or if I feel the subject culd use some backing / continum basis.

Giving ideas for mods, twists, turn, storylines (Family Bond is still available for a group if they want) etc.

But I have only ever been capable in an ideas and conceptual manner. I have always wanted to learn the practical side of modding, and in deed of work as seen with the SWMA when they were still around.

As such, I am getting a new machine (REAL beefy) and am going to embark uopn some low level stuf. I have 3D MAX and Visual C++ (with experience), a hot PC and ideas.

But what more do I need? Well, if someone could point me in the direction of some good:

  • Texture Archives
  • Model Archives (examples to learn from and use in practicing animations)
  • Other programs (After Effects has been mentioned with high regard)
  • Sites/Groups will to train / help me if I put in some serious hours before hand

Cheers for you assistance with in my most n00bist of times.

Nova Wolf,

Jon Adamson
