Guest mtw4
OK, this is going to sound weird, but twice now I have loaded my one player saved game on the DC version, played around for a while, both in versus mode and regular, then gone back to continue my regular game. When I get into the character select screen, it is in two player mode, but the characters I have saved on my one player game are at their saved skill level, etc. This allows me to get into level 10 with both characters in a two player game -- Obi-Wan, who I have completed the game with, and another character who I have not even started playing with. In other words, so long as one character has unlocked a level, both characters can play it. This was also true on the PSX version, but you could only do it when you loaded your two player game - which makes more sense. Anyway, it's not a big deal, but the benefit of the glitch is that I can go into level ten with characters who I haven't even started playing yet in my one player game, kill that character off in the first room with Maul, then play through level 10 with just my character who has unlocked all their combos and has full life/force powers, beat Maul, unlock level 10 for the first character who I killed off at the beginning of the level so I didn't to constantly switch back and forth between controllers to move two characters through the level. I did this with Obi-Wan, killed Qui-gon off, completed the level, and unlocked Darth Maul, without having to play Qui-gon through the whole game. Make sense? Good. If anyone has figured out how to do this with a code or whatever, let me know. Both times it happened to me it was an accident.
Guest mtw4
Okay peeps, if you have the "good" fortune to accidentally stumble on this glitch, don't use it and then overwrite your saved one player game. SAVE THE GAME IN A NEW MEMORY CELL. I did it once and it overwrote my game in one player mode. The second time I did it I wasn't paying attention and it saved it as a two player game - taking all of my saved one player game features and converting it to a two player game. So now I'm screwed because I had three players at 10/100 and now I can't play one player mode with them anymore. I really don't feel like going back and playing through with them.
