JK2 demo

I recently attained the demo of JK2 for my PC. Having played JK1 frequently, I was able to make my way through the demo level, with (relative) ease. After defeating the Reborn in the hanger, I made my way through the large doors and there was a forcefield blocking my way. I've backtracked all the way through the level, but I cannot find a way to get past this forcefield. Any help would be great.

 

Also, It gives me the choice to run the game in normal mode or safe mode. When I run it in safe mode, it doesn't remember my settings. When I run it in normal mode, the graphics look pretty pixelated. Any way to correct the graphic problem?

You want to backtrack to the second floor of the generator room, to the right of the platform that brings you up to that floor is a room, enter it, go through the next door and then over by the window looking out at the generator is a button, push it, and you should be able to finish.
