Where are the danged patch lines?

Dang, this is really starting to tick me off. I've got GTK Radient 1.2.11, and in the main mapping box where you edit the brushes, it won't show the inverted patches I put in. Basic example, I put in a bevel, then I make it a inverted bevel, then I invert it again so you can see the textures. When I select it i shows the lines then, but when its not selected, it doesn't show any of the lines. Where can I fix this so I can see the lines?

There is one thing I can think of. You have a black background, don't you? In GtkRadiant the func_groups (and every capped patch is in a func_group with it's caps by default) are drawn with black.

Thank you, that is what I determined it was. My DSL was down last night, and I finally decided to switch the color scheme from black and green to a gray. Don't suppose you can tell me where I can change the color of the func_groups, because I have searched everywhere.
