acewombat
I am trying to use the behavior editor and I am follwoing a simple tutorial on it. I was trying to make a character simple walk in a path. The tut said to erase the rem in the script slow and drag the "AFFECT" command over. Next I brought the first "Set" command over under it. But I am getting this message <SET TYPES> "IncludeError!!!", Default" when I drag it over and I can't change the parameter because of this error -can someone tell me what might be wrong? What could cause an error like that only two steps into the script? The tut didn't say anything about it but it is supposed to be {<SET_TYPES>, "PARM1". "DEFAULT" } instead the "SET_PARM1" part in hte middle is missing and that "IncludeError!!!!" is there-please Help someone what is wrong? The only thing I changed in the affect properties was the default name as the tut had said to do.
lassev
You might want to use the settings in BehavEd to change the paths to the gamesource directory, where the .h files lie. You got the directory with the installation of the editing tools packet. There aren't many sources of error in BehavEd, so I'm supposing this particular case is the source of your misfortune. So, go the the application prefs, and there have a look at the last text box: Source files path As a default, it has a value (path): xxxxxxxxxxxxx\Tools\SourceForBehavEd Now this, of course, is wrong as you don't have such a folder. So change it to: xxxxxxxxxxxxx\Tools\gamesource Then just let rock'n'roll.
