I think Sony is planning both a modem and a broadband adapter for internet play. I mean, what is Unreal Tournament without internet support! Sega is releasing a broadband adapter for DC as well, and I think both the Gamecube and X-Box will ship with one! PS2 is the only console which doesn't ship with any kind of internet capability!
