Cant Start Or Host Game On The Zone Plus My Friends Cant See Me When I Host From....

with in the game..... I dont know why.. can you guys with your great wisdom help me.... do i have setting wrongs? I have dsl... and my buddies only have dial up so i think it would be hard for them to join using the system in game... so we went over to the zone..... we all dl'ed the files... they can play on the zone but i cant.... whenever i go to join a game or host... it just says Game failed to launch... the cd is in the drive... i have the latest patch 1.04.. what is going on..... can you guys give me some help??? thanx...
