mrb712
I am stuck. I have followed the walkthrough for this level word for word, and I can't get past the first control building. I jumped over the exploding pipes, cleared out the building of stormtroopers and the Imperial guard, took the guard's key, and when I go to open the door at the bottom of the ramp, all I hear is a sound like a doorknob turning, but nothing else. I have searched the control panels of the building trying to find something that might activate the door, but of course, that didn't work. Is there something I'm missing? Can someone help? Thanks, mrb
Koala3K
If you're having problems now, how did you get past the first corridor in the Kejim Base level? If memory serves, the door opens with the Imperial's security key, which should be used with the silver button to the right of the big door you're trying to get through. --Koala3K
mrb712
I know how to use the keys with the panels on the doors. What I'm trying to say is that the key that I grabbed from the Imperial Guard won't open that door. I walk up to the door, wait to see the green hand in the lower left hand corner (indicating that there's something there I can activate), and all I hear is a clicking sound. The door does not open. Koala3K
The Imperial's key should open the door. If not, I don't know what to tell you. It sounds like you're playing on a Gamecube or an Xbox, because I (a Mac player) do not get any kind of "green hand" when I can use an item, although I know from playing on a Gamecube that that kind of thing happens on that platform. The Imperial's key is the one that goes to the door. That's all I can say, due to my lack of knowledge about the Gamecube. Try every possible way to use the key with the lock, and if that doesn't work, you might want to try to contact the JK2 hint phone line. And here's one little tip that might solve your problem (or not)-- make sure that you've gone to the back of the spotlight tower outside, entered it, and hit the switch on the inside. I don't know if this has anything to do with your problem, but I know that hitting unrelated switches in different places sometimes does make other doors open and such. It's a stretch, but hey, you never know. Too bad you're not playing on a computer-- you could just put "noclip" in the console and get through that pesky door with no problem. Hope this helps. ---Koala3K
