Running a server on a mac

Hello

 

I wan to run a server on my mac but i can't get my admin mod to work. I'm trying to use vulcanus 2.2. I put it in the base folder, and yadda yadda, but in order for it to work, my pc using friends tell me i have to activate it in the mod menu. But, we all know that no mod shows up in the mod menu on a mac. Anybody else run a server off the mac? Any help woupld be useful. Thnx

Mods DO show up: I do not put them IN my base folder, but NEXT to it, in my library/application support/jediknightmp folder. Then I activate them from within the game. Server seems to work fine.
