clu
RichDiesel has Volrath do a good guest lecture on this: http://richdiesal.jedioutcastmaps.com/tutorials/vol_cm.html I also had trouble with textures. Here's a couple thoughts off the top of my head (I'm not at my home computer now so this is just from memory: 1) Make sure your explicit map channel for your material is set to "1". If you have trouble switching it from another number, there is a Max plugin called "copymap" that can swap channels (n http://www.maxplugins.de/max4.php?search=copymap 2) You probably already know this, but make sure the model is textured like a player model (UVW map coordianates and unwrap, etc). If you just apply textures in max without doing the whole UVW skin you may have probs. Also the textures may need to comply to the old "power of two" rule (256x256, 512x512, etc) There may be an issue of Targas vs. JPEGs as texture files but that's just a blind guess as I haven't tried custom models in a while. That's all I can think of at the moment. Hope it helps. -clu
