Play JKII with other Mac users

Hi all!

Im from The Mac Addict clan (forums hosted by the magazine, so no pop up ads;) ), and im trying to spread the news about a squad that the clan is trying to start.

 

Clan [MA] has been around for a few years, mostly playing unreal tournament, but we are trying to get a Jedi Knight II squad going, and before the people high up do anything offical, they need a certian amount of intrest shown.

 

MA is a friendly clan that welcomes newcomers, and we really like to have fun, weither in the forums or on our gaming servers. If you are intrested at all, please put a vote in this thread.

I might be interested, but I have a 32k connection that isn't always reliable, and there's another clan that is the object of my ambitions.

 

I guess my joining would depend on the amount of commitment required, and the amount of (or lack of) seriousness about the clan.

yeah, if youd vote and post that would be cool , but dont worry, we dont have your name written in stone, and we wont send our assassins out to hunt you down(at least not that well admit to) if you decide youd rather join the other clan (although i couldnt imagine why). but yeah, ive posted links to that one poll in a couple pages, because i want to keep the intregrety of the vote and make sure its a fairly accurate count (ie, i knew if i had more then one, a lot of people would vote in either one or both, and that would screw counts).

 

our clan has i belive 60-70 people who regularily play on our Unreal Tournament server (quite a few of those from other clans who are on good terms with us and we enjoy friendly interclan matches with), and it has been well established in its 4 or so years of existance, I know our other gaming squads(wc3 & RtCW) have done very well and do a lot of things, and so im hoping that this JKII thing takes off.

 

As a high school senior taking various ap classes, celebrating my 1 year promotion at my job yesterday, and juggeling family issues, i cant devote hours of time a day to the group, and i wouldnt expect anyone else to, i think it would be nice if we could get together maybe once a night on weekends and play, maybe more, maybe less, depending on the schedules of everyone, its going to be really flexible, so dont worry about us superglueing your lightsaber to you expecting you to practice 24/7, but i think we could do some really cool stuff with this group. (id love to eventually have inter/intra clan matches with mods and mutators and diffrent types of play (ctf, ffa, etc) all kinds of fun stuff )

 

all i ask for now is that if you are intrested, put a vote in the poll and post in the thread (id love to see someone from here post there ) to help us guage intrest. i have a few things im working on that are really cool that ill talk about later, but they depend on time and money, if they work out it would be way awesome. Im excited about this, and i hope other people are too.
