Moon Roach
I'm thinking of getting Lasik surgery on my eyeballs. Glasses and contacts both need to git up and git out. Have any of you had experiences with it or known someone who has?
scabb
I know someone who's had it done two or three years ago, and he's satisfied. He still has to wear glasses when driving at night though.
Moon Roach
The problem is that if they do the surgery before the patient has stopped growing, then their vision can get worse after the fact as their eyeballs continue stretching, and it's a complicated procedure to do a second surgery. I think I'm going to wait until I hit the 100 ft mark before going under the beam. But if I just needed to wear glasses only at night or when I read or something, at least it would be better than being dependent on them night and day. Doubleplus GC
The cutoff for eye surgery is 22. That's when the eyes stop growing. Get contacts, they're really not that high-maintenance.
