I am trying to get the most efficient configuration to try and make me more awesome than I am right now My mouse is MS Optical too Would it be better to have stance on mouse wheel push down?? Marker0077 Posted April 9, 2003 Share Posted April 9, 2003 With some mouses bind the wheel is tricky, like I have mousewheelup bound to "+taunt; wait; -taunt" because if you just bind it to +taunt it'll stick. I used to have an optical also (gawd I miss that mouse), the 5 buttons are sweet. I bound the left button to force pull, the right button to taunt, the mouse1 button attack, the mouse2 button to jump, the mouse3 button to secondary attack, & I'm not sure what the mwheelup & down were bound to, it's been awhile & now I'm using a regular scroll mouse. Iblis Reborn Posted April 12, 2003 Share Posted April 12, 2003 ive got the same set up ive had since Quake 1 aside from the stuff thats new to this game right mouse - move forward left - shoot wheel up\down - change weps wheel button - change style 1st thumb button - alt fire 2nd thumb button - saber out\in and i have my keyboard layout on the nm<> keys for strafing back and duck my force powers are binded nearby (bkl;o/) that setup has always worked for me but ive been using it a long time doesnt take too long to get used to though Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
