Dead lock at the end of the Infenral Machine level

My machine seems to dead lock when I reach the end of the Infernal Machine level. As soon as Marduk is satisfied the machine locks, and I have tp turn it off to regain control. I've restarted several times now, and it's the same every time. Have anybody else had the same experience? Is it a hardware or a software problem. I would be very grateful for any suggestions.
